Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Core Byte Technology (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you install or use Top Sellers & Reorder (the “App”). The App helps merchants review top-selling products and reorder suggestions for a chosen fulfillment location.
Who this policy covers
The App is used by merchants and their staff in the store admin. It is not a storefront app. We do not collect personal information from a merchant’s customers or other shoppers beyond what is needed to count fulfilled order line items.
Information we collect through the Admin API
When you install the App, we request these Admin API scopes: read orders, read products, and read inventory and locations. We use them to:
- Read shop name and domain
- Read fulfilled order line items for the location you choose
- Read product titles, images, and status
- Read available and incoming inventory at that location
We store an offline access token for the installed shop so the App can keep working after you close the admin.
Information we collect from you
- The fulfillment location you select
- Report settings such as sales window, target days of cover, and top N
- Optionally, a SumTracker API key, warehouse id, and whether Incoming stock should use Shopify or SumTracker
- A session cookie so the App can keep your current messages while you work
- The billing plan handle returned after you choose a plan in Shopify’s hosted checkout
How we use this information
We use it only to provide the App: show top sellers, stock cover, reorder suggestions, and CSV export. If you add a SumTracker API key, we call SumTracker’s inventory API to read incoming quantities by SKU for the warehouse you choose and show them in the App. We do not write SumTracker data back to Shopify. We do not sell this information. We do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
- Hosting is on Render. Installed-shop tokens and settings are saved on that host’s disk so they survive deploys.
- App charges are billed through the Shopify billing system. We do not process card numbers.
- If enabled by you, SumTracker (inventory-api.sumtracker.com) receives your API key on requests we make to load incoming stock.
How long we keep data
We keep the shop token and App settings while the App is installed. When Shopify sends a shop/redact webhook (uninstall or store closure), we delete that shop’s token and settings. Customer/redact and customers/data_request webhooks have no customer profiles stored by us to change or export.
